I am a BABCP accredited CBT therapist. I received my diploma in CBT in 2015. Previous to this I was working as a psychological wellbeing practitioner (PWP) for 5 years within the NHS. This role meant that I conducted assessments for therapy and did low intensity CBT interventions for those with mild to moderate anxiety and depression. Prior to this I was a research assistant at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Through working with families, I yearned to provide more care than I was able to give at the time, resulting in my training as a PWP for an IAPT service. As I spent my time delivering CBT, I wanted to further my education and ability to practice techniques I saw working so effectively. This inspired me to privately fund my training so I did this alongside my everyday job. I left the NHS in 2015 and now work both at The Priory as a CBT therapist and in my own private practice. Not many people can say they both enjoy and gain satisfaction from their job on a daily basis but I do!

The collaborative nature of CBT results in a great therapeutic relationship which empowers clients to make significant changes to their lives. As an accredited member of the BABCP, I adhere to a code of ethics and code of conduct.

I am registered with a number of insurance companies, please contact me if you have insurance and wish to access my services.
