Acupuncturist – Gill Carpenter
LIcAc, DipTH MBAcA
For many years I worked in the NHS firstly as a nurse in London and later as a midwife working in the maternity unit at St Richards hospital Chichester. My interest in Acupuncture started when I had treatment for an injury after a car accident in Australia and was amazed at the benefits it had.
On returning to the UK I completed a 3 year training at The British collage of Acupuncture in 1992 and have since then strived to combine this with my medical background to bridge the gap between Eastern and Western medicine. I have continued to study throughout the last 30 years having completed three, year long diplomas in Chinese herbs, Tui na massage and Gynaecology Fertility & Pregnancy. I always try to keep up with the latest research and treatment methods
I have been in practice for over 30 years first working from home when I was continuing to work as a midwife. For the past 20 years I have worked 4 days a week in Multi discipline clinics both Emsworth and Worthing.
I am licenced in Acupuncture and a member of the British Acupuncture Council.
